Trial includes a couple of standardised features that help with turning on and off debugging or performance switches. You may make use of the features in your own code as well. They are as follows:

Remove buffer bounds and permission checks

Remove element bounds checks when casting values between types
:elide-container-checks
Remove scene graph containment invariant checks
:elide-handler-restarts
Remove restarts around event handling
:trial-debug-all
Enable all debug features (*debug-features*)
:trial-debug-none
Disable all debug features (*debug-features*)
:trial-optimize-all
Enable all optimize features (*optimize-features*)
